Browsholme Hall Wedding Photography – Caroline & Jon

What do you do on a rainy July day in Clitheroe? How about… get married & throw a wicked party in a barn at Browsholme Hall? Caroline & Jon did. And it was awesome. This was our first Browsholme Hall wedding & it felt good to be up North. When you’re a photographer, shooting a photographer’s (the bride’s) wedding and at least half of the guests are also photographers there’s just that little teensy bit of added pressure but you know for shizzle they’ll have chosen somewhere super photogenic to get married. And they did. And you have an inkling that the bride might just have gone for a bit of a jaw-dropping wedding dress… and oh boy, she did! Caroline’s Martina Liana gown was out of this world beautiful. We can officially recommend doing a photographer’s wedding photography – it’s well worth the slightly sweaty palms.

The wedding wheels (a Sherwood green Daimler) were a perfect colour match with the lush countryside surrounding St. Leonard’s Church, where Caroline & Jon were married by the tallest vicar we’ve ever seen. Magic Johnson standard. Then it was off to The Tithe Barn at Browsholme Hall for a good ole’ wedding knees up and some delicious grub…. and then what else do you do on a rainy day in Clitheroe? Eat more grub! Ice cream, of course. And lots of it… and make sure you try some of everybody else’s too. Maybe try a bit of hula-hooping in between and then go in for some of the amazing looking wedding cake.

Next, get on your dancing shoes and have the time of your life. Which is what we all did. Thank you so much to Caroline & Jon for putting your trust in us, for sharing your day with us and for being all-round marvellous humans. Huge congratulations you lovely pair – here are a few of our favourite moments. xx

  1. Great collection of images… That shot of the vicar looking down the lens is priceless! Plus, I really like the shot of the bride and groom walking through the churchyard, with the veil blowing in the wind. Great timing 🙂 Ed
