Derby Wedding – Sophie & Gary

You might want to sit down before you treat yourself to this Derby Wedding. Toby went weak at the knees the first time he met Gary a.k.a. Ashton Kutcher. I’m not sure I’ll forget the moment on S & G’s Couples Shoot when Toby casually asked, “So Gary, what do you do?” and the tall one replied, “I’m a firefighter.” Dreams really do come true, eh Tobes?! And who do dreamboats marry? Absolute hotties, of course. Enter the sublimely gorgeous Sophie in a Maggie Sottero gown and a pair of Jimmy Choos. Fit!!! The West Mill never looked so good!

We bloody love this venue. Shooting a Derby Wedding at The West Mill always feels like coming home – we know the awesome team and it’s super local. Every wedding there is totally unique and brings something completely different for us to photograph but there’s always a relaxed, fun vibe. The industrial style is a magnet for our kind of couples – mega fun and can’t wait to smash out some moves on the dance floor. See photos 😉

The wedding styling was on point for this one. I had major accessories envy – Sophie went for pops of jade green in her earrings and Jimmy Choo bridal shoes, to match her beautiful engagement ring. And the succulents! Those bad boys were out in force, including in Sophie’s stunner of a bouquet by the fabulous Nadia di Tullio. The lads suits were sharp, the bridesmaids were wearing two of my favourite things – sequins and tulle and as we might have mentioned, the groom looked pretty damn fine.
