Newton House Barns Wedding : Danielle & Adam

After meeting Dani & Adam for coffee a few weeks ahead of their big day, we were pretty fired up for our first Newton House Barns wedding. These two are awesome and they definitely had their wedding priorities right. Dani’s words were, “It’s all about the people. Capturing those moments with our friends and family is what’s really important to us both.” I thought she was angling for a copywriting job on our next brochure 😉 And best of all, this was a wedding filled with so many funny, unplanned, emotional, joyous moments. Our very favourite stuff to photograph.

We always love discovering a local venue and this stunning South Derbyshire wedding venue delivered on every level. Newton House Barns is a renovated barn, surrounded by acres of beautiful gardens in the Derbyshire countryside. It was the perfect setting for Dani’s surprise crazy golf course for golf fanatic Adam! We’ll defo say it was the pre-ceremony nerves that prevented that hole in one, eh Adam?! And while anybody wearing stilettos might have been at risk of sinking or doing a full mud slide, the rains actually stopped for a full day and Danielle & Adam were blessed with sunshine in October.

We made the most of all that incredible golden October light and went for a wander around the gardens with Dani & Adam, to shoot some natural portraits bathed in that Autumn haze.

The love levels went up to 100 during those speeches. I’m a tiny bit surprised the shots are in focus, as I might have been looking through slightly blurry eyes. You guyssssss!!!!

We could talk about these two and their crew all day but we’ll let their wedding photos tell the real story. These are just a few of our favourite moments. Danielle & Adam – you smashed it!
