Home-Made Marquee Wedding

Rhona & Dave’s Marquee Wedding at her home in Devon was a whole village effort, with family and friends creating and providing the most beautiful, thoughtful, homespun details.  There’s nothing better than spotting the florist sipping a G&T in her party gear or watching Dave the canapé genius emerge from the kitchen to sit down for his wedding breakfast. We love photographing a wedding at home, where everybody’s involved; it makes for such a unique and personal day. This lot served us up a stunning colour palette of reds and pinks, floral arches with dahlias galore, a Morris Minor, table tennis, a puppy in a bow tie, twins in matching dresses, the most delicious canapés feast, an outdoor ceremony and they even wangled a sunset. Get in!

The Couple

Rhona & Dave are two of the most relaxed, calm and mega fun people we’ve been lucky enough to photograph. We had the best time on their pre-wedding Couples Shoot, watching Rhona’s expert parking skills and putting them through an endurance test, as we hiked to the top of the Malvern Hills and nearly got blown away, in a bid to capture the perfect sunset images.

We knew this bride and groom were ready to party, so we were pretty well prepped for how awesome their wedding would be. Turns out it was awesome and then some! Rhona was bridal style perfection in her Art Couture wedding dress, with that gorgeous bardot neckline and most importantly, pockets!!! Then she rocked out in the sassiest Ted Baker jumpsuit for after-hours, to give her ultimate dance floor shape-throwing ability.
