Sandon Hall Wedding Venue

This was our first time photographing a Sandon Hall wedding, so we weren’t quite ready for just how stunning this venue is. Think grand, luxurious stately home, with a cosy feel, surrounded by lush Staffordshire countryside. Sandon Hall definitely ticks all the wedding photography boxes! And then Double-J added some seriously high-octane ready-to-party wedding guests, bucket loads of champagne and injected a massive dose of love, to create the perfect Sandon Hall wedding recipe.

The Bride & Groom

What can we say about these two? Jemimah & James, Double-J, the new Mr and Mrs Masters… Listening to their wedding speeches gave us just an inkling of how much these two wonderful humans are truly loved and treasured by their friends and families. It was so lovely to hear. I think at least 3 people said this and I’m going to repeat it because it’s actually the best way to describe Jemimah – she’s the most exquisitely beautiful bride on the outside but she’s also gorgeous on the inside. We couldn’t have been happier to be there to capture all these gorgeous moments.

Wedding Style

You can’t talk about Jemimah without mentioning style. She is one mighty fine woman, with a keen eye for detail. We were surprised James managed to stay on his feet when she walked down the aisle in that St Patrick Bridal gown. Wowzers!!!! What a hottie!!! That gold beading was just so dreamy. And so was everything else – the flowers, the marquee, the bridesmaids’ dresses by Ghost. 

Party Madness

When the bride ends up hula-hooping with the floral displays, your guests are singing, waving napkins and standing on chairs before the end of the speeches and the bar is drunk dry you know you’re winning at weddings! We love an epic dance floor and this wedding was crazy on the dance floor, by the bar, in the garden… flip flops were flying everywhere, major twerking was happening and the bride might just have ripped her dress amidst the shape throwing. Yes to this!!! Thank you to Jemimah & James for bringing the party and to all you amazing guests for being truly awesome. So here it is… a taster of the best Sandon Hall weddings get.
