It’s hard to express just how in love I am with everything about this wedding. This was our first trip to London’s stunning venue, Trinity Buoy Wharf and it blew us out the water. The sunset views of the O2 were truly spectacular, the immense Chainstore was perfect for the totally crazy Israeli dancing (you needed a lot of height! more on that later..) and the winter sun shone on that lighthouse and cast the dream light for wedding photography. I actually can’t stop looking at those highlights, shapes and shadows in Miriam & Thomas’ first-look photos. I think that sun was an early present from Santa!

And then of course there’s Miriam and Thomas. To get a tiny idea of how awesome these two are you can just skip straight to the dance-floor. When Israel meets Ireland via London it goes OFF! There was sweat and blood but fortunately no tears… maximum hardcore points go out to Thomas’ Dad for getting a bloody nose after a kick to the face and carrying on regardless. What a guy! Every wedding should definitely include a dance that involves your best mates lying on the floor and you doing a massive running jump over them whilst the bride is being thrown miles in the air on a chair. It makes for killer shots!

The festoon-lit Jewish ceremony was beautiful. Miriam walked down the aisle with her Mum on one side and Dad on the other and the marriage was sealed with the traditional breaking of the glass and a lot of whooping, jumping, dancing & swinging everybody around. Amazing!

I can’t believe I’ve got this far without talking about Miriam’s Daughters of Simone dress. Wow. Those lace sleeves!!! She looked absolutely gorgeous – classic and elegant with a little boho vintage twist. LOVE. Her bridesmaids’ gowns by Ghost were beautiful and they had the most amazing flower crowns ever. Basically this bride has style. Watch and learn people 🙂 And Thomas you looked mighty fine, too!

I could go on talking about this wedding for a very long time but I really want you to see the pictures because they say a lot more than I possibly could do about the spirit and love of the day and this couple’s story. So I’ll stop… have you seen the groom prep shots?! Super nice by Tobes 🙂 Right I really will stop now, apart from saying a million thank yous to Miriam and Thomas for inviting us along to document your wedding story. It’s an epic tale! xxx
