From the moment we first met Hannah & Wayne we knew their wedding would be a lot of fun… and it sure was! It started with a visit to Wincle Brewery & ended with dance-floor lifts à la ‘Dirty Dancing’. Nobody puts Wayne in a corner Continue Reading →
Eeeeek! We’re super, extra excited to share this one, folks! Sophie & Dave were married in their hometown, at County Hall, Matlock, on the edge of the Peak District on a Spring afternoon. It was a hands-on, DIY / ask a friend wedding, filled with personal touches – Sophie made her veil, bouquet and the bridesmaids’ bracelets, she and Dave spent hours making heart-shaped confetti, the incredibly talented Susie Greening (the maid of honour’s sister) designed and made Sophie’s AMAZING dress, Zoe (a school-friend) made the cake & the skiffle band Please Y’Self are made up of Sophie’s Dad, Uncle & Aunt! A proper family-friend affair that all together equalled complete awesomeness! They also chose to mix things up a little – the bridal party met for photos before the ceremony, Joe was a bride’s man and the bride waltzed solo down the aisle. What more can we say… a box veil, lego cake-toppers, daffodils, a pork-pie tower… it doesn’t get much better than this! Thank you to our lovely bride & groom for choosing us to photograph your wedding. Congratulations – we wish you happiness ever after!
A little treat for a Thursday afternoon… Here’s a sneaky peek of Emma & Kris amazing, colourful, Americana wedding at Dodford Manor. Soooo much fun & loads of wow factor! Suits + Converse, ruby red shoes, lots of flowers, gorgeous barns, some rock n roll and…ohhhhhh those cars! Thank for a fabulous day, you two! Continue Reading →
Wow, where do we start with these guys?! Absolute stars! We first met Ali & Adam back in October for their couples shoot & we soon learnt that not even hurricane-force winds & tidal waves could stop these two! Continue Reading →
Congratulations to the lovely Natalie & Adam who got married on Saturday on a glorious, sunny winter’s day in Hertford. We love box veils and red roses, here’s a quick sneak peek.
Wow, 2013, what a fantastic year! Toby & I feel incredibly lucky to have met so many lovely couples, travelled to such beautiful venues & had so many laughs along the way. It’s been a real privilege to photograph such amazing weddings & we’d like to say a huge thank you to all our 2013 couples. We’ve selected a few of our favourite pics, we hope you enjoy looking back at them. Now, here’s to a bloomin’ brilliant 2014!
Jenny & Oli first got in touch with us when they were living all the way in sunny Sydney & their gorgeous baby Albert was only a few months old. Several Skype calls, a move across the world & a couples shoot in London later, Jenny & Oli were married on Albert first birthday. Continue Reading →
Marcela & James are an awesome, superbly stylish, fun couple & their wedding at Dillington House in Somerset was jam-packed with individual touches that made their day really special. It was a unique, quirky mix that reflected the couples’ heritage : quintessentially English – think country manor, Morris dancers, bunting & welly wanging – mixed with homemade Slovakian wine & folk songs. Marcela was a really relaxed bride and she looked stunning in her Jenny Packham dress & we loved James’ oh-so-dapper cravatte. The rain came & it never went away but Marcela & James were so happy that we’re not sure they even noticed! What a great day – thank you so much for letting us capture it!
Gena & Lea’s wedding was our very favourite kind – filled to bursting with sunshine, smiles, dancing, milkshakes, laughter, burgers and more smiles. They’re a gorgeous couple and their main objective was for everybody, including us, to have fun and celebrate their marriage in supreme style. And that we did!
